Jammu, Jun 28 ( DNS) : A jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman here today said।
Sepoy G L Rao of Maratha Light Infantry who was deployed in Forward Peer Bhadesar area in Nowshera sector of, shot himself with his service weapon yesterday, he said adding the jawan died on the spot।
His body was sent for postmortem।
The Army has ordered a Court of Inquiry into the incident, the spokesman added.( DNS)
